How to have a breakthrough

Breakthrough: an important discovery or event that helps to improve a situation or provide an answer to a problem.


Are you ready to rise to the challenge of breaking through your limiting beliefs?


Telling yourself it’s impossible is how you justify getting out of doing the work.


Everything is possible if you follow the 5 steps to your breakthrough. Once you graduate from this process, the results you seek are not far away.


1. Know your why

Why is this important to you? The answer to this question will define your journey moving forward.



2. Burn the boats

Like Tony Robbins says - if you want to take the island, burn the boats. This means when you have a goal and a strong enough why, you cannot leave yourself a safety net that will lead you backwards. Eliminate your excuses and be ALL IN.


3. Find a Buddy

Find a friend and/or mentor who truly cares about your goals and will stop at nothing to help you achieve them. At Ultim8 Fitness (in the context of your fitness journey), our buddy system helps you find a mate in class who will help you through your journey and you will have a friend in Team U8F who will constantly guide and motivate you, while holding you accountable to the goals you set for yourself.


Having a fitness buddy is a game changer - sometimes just knowing we are not alone in our journey helps us in moving forward.


4. Have a plan

Coach Paps (U8F owner and Head Coach) always says that your fitness blueprint is like having a faultless GPS that maps out the journey you are about to take. Without articulating your destination and mapping out an efficient route to get there, you will struggle and likely get lost time and time again - ultimately giving up and settling for a less beautiful destination.

Having a plan is imperative - make sure you pour the right amount of love and light when seeking to guide the accomplishment of your goals.


5. Resilience


This is the trickiest part - being resilient, through the ups and the downs, and trusting that your plan will reap the amazing results you seek is a process in itself.


This is where it pays off to have a supportive group of people around you who know where you’re heading, and can contribute positively and productively to your journey of self-love, self-discovery and self-enlightenment.
